Brooklyn Beckham has expanded the tattoo cover-up on his left chest, replacing more of a design previously dedicated to Victoria Beckham. The latest update comes amid his ongoing estrangement from his parents.
Brooklyn Beckham revealed an updated chest cover-up hiding his previous Victoria tribute
Brooklyn got the original “mama’s boy” tattoo in 2018. He began covering it last summer and showed the latest version on social media Wednesday. The expanded floral design is believed to represent Nicola Peltz’s bridal bouquet from their 2022 wedding.
The latest tattoo change followed other alterations to Brooklyn’s family-related ink. A design featuring an anchor and the word “Dad” has been partly concealed, while a tattoo showing “1975,” which referred to David Beckham’s birth year, was no longer visible.
His “love you Bust” tattoo remains, although the handwriting appeared faded. Daily Mail also reported that tattoos of Romeo, Cruz, and Harper’s names on his fingers had been covered.
Brooklyn still has some tattoos connected to his siblings. His “brotherhood” tattoo matches designs that Romeo and Cruz got in 2023. He also has a ballerina tattoo honoring Harper.
The updated chest tattoo came after Brooklyn publicly addressed his estrangement from his parents in January. In his statement, he said he did not want to reconcile with his family and accused his parents of controlling him for most of his life.
He also made allegations about his relationship with his parents and events surrounding his wedding to Nicola. Among his claims, Brooklyn said Victoria took part in a dance that had originally been planned as his first dance with his wife. He said the moment left him uncomfortable and humiliated.
Brooklyn said he and Nicola wanted “peace, privacy and happiness” for themselves and their future family.
