Donald Trump’s loyal aide, Natalie Harp, has reportedly gone to extraordinary lengths to remain by the president’s side.
Newly surfaced letters reportedly reveal how far Harp has gone to stay close to Trump.
Leaked letters revealed Natalie Harp starved herself and skipped sleep to keep up with Donald Trump
Harp has been one of Trump’s closest aides for several years. She is commonly known as the “human printer” because she carries bundles of news articles for the president to read. The unusually close nature of their relationship has reportedly raised concerns among Trump’s top advisers and the Secret Service.
According to the Daily Mail, the letters reveal that Harp ran alongside Trump’s golf cart during a May 2023 trip to Scotland because no other cart was available. She later apologized for potentially embarrassing the president. She wrote, “I also am sorry if I was an embarrassment walking the course in Scotland.”
Harp also admitted that she had forgotten to eat or sleep while working for the president. “I want things to always be right between us. I also know I’ve been distracted all week (forgetting to eat throughout the days, and even forgetting to sleep, and only catching a couple hours at a time),” she wrote. Her letter concluded, “With all my heart, Natalie.”
Her reported efforts did not end there. Harp reportedly traveled in the trunk of an SUV in October 2023 after learning there was no room for her in the motorcade taking Trump to a New York court appearance. She also reportedly spent part of the summer of 2023 sleeping in the women’s locker room at Bedminster Golf Club to remain close to Trump.
Trump appeared to reciprocate that devotion when he reportedly prioritized Harp over some Cabinet secretaries last month. Harp was among a small group who switched planes with Trump in Ankara during the NATO summit. The decision reportedly came after Israeli intelligence warned of a potential attack on Air Force One.
