Barlow told The Hollywood Reporter that “Echoes of You” would arrive in September. She said the song belonged to the same family as “Baby Gorgeous.” Barlow described its sound as “very Dua Lipa-esque.”
“It’s this super sexy dance song,” Barlow said. She added that the track featured strings and “this insane disco vibe.” However, she stressed that the production felt “very 2026.” The song was inspired by recognizing a special person. Barlow described the track as “sexy,” “moody,” and “euphoric.”
Barlow believed “Echoes of You” could surpass her first single. She said it would make listeners feel confident and euphoric. Her vocal coach recently heard the track and reacted strongly. “I didn’t think you could do better than ‘Baby Gorgeous,’” the coach told her.
Barlow said “Echoes of You” could “give ‘Baby Gorgeous’ a run for its money.” She also confirmed that the song would become part of a larger EP.
Barlow entered her pop star era with new music. Barlow released “Baby Gorgeous” in June. She said fans connected with its message about confidence. “I’m in my pop star era, and I love it,” Barlow said.
