The group was seen completely relaxed and chatting, while Pascal and Hogue were photographed together, immediately raising romance speculation.
The images quickly attracted the attention of social media users, with “Pedro Pascal boyfriend” trending online. According to The Tab, some users even falsely claimed that Hogue was an escort hired by the actor. Hogue responded to the rumors in the comment section of the Instagram post, “I really don’t need to explain myself here but I am going to. He continued, “I am not gay nor am I for hire. I have been welcomed to this boat as a friend for many years. So it’s a damn shame to see how quickly everyone jumps to this conclusion when it couldn’t be farther from the truth.”
