King Charles has reportedly ignored Prince William’s repeated warnings about Prince Harry. This has left the Prince of Wales frustrated with his father’s approach to family reconciliation. According to an insider, William has now accepted that his advice is unlikely to change the King’s mind. Hence, the Prince of Wales has reportedly decided to step back from the situation altogether.

According to Examiner, the claims state that Charles is working to rebuild his relationship with Harry despite William’s alleged objections. According to an insider, William no longer believes there is any point in trying to influence his father’s decisions. “Any advice that he gives his father is met with indifference or even outright anger,” the source claimed. “So, he’s decided the best thing he can do is stop trying to help and let him do whatever he pleases,” the insider added.
In previous reports, William urged Charles not to trust Harry and Meghan. This was ahead of the Sussexes’ July visit to the United Kingdom. Despite those reported concerns, Charles went ahead with a private family meeting at his Gloucestershire residence.
The insider claimed William found the situation difficult because he believed he had been preparing to take on greater responsibility within the monarchy. “What’s really hurtful in all this is that it seemed like they were busy preparing him to take over,” the source alleged. “Now, he’s suddenly been pushed to the side while Charles rolls out the red carpet for Harry any chance he gets,” they continued.
The reported tensions follow The Sun’s July 26 claim. It reported on Harry’s invitation to stay at Buckingham Palace during another visit to Britain in September. Although Buckingham Palace has not confirmed the reports, the possibility has reportedly done little to ease William’s concerns. The source claimed that it is “bewildering and enraging.” William reportedly chose to give up on understanding the matter. “He’s still hoping somebody else can talk sense into his father, but he’s not counting on it, and he’s through wasting his breath.”
