A major rumor surrounding The Real Housewives of Atlanta (RHOA) has been making rounds, but executive producer and reunion host Andy Cohen has now addressed it himself.
The rumors were about Shamea Morton’s alleged firing, along with talks about NeNe Leakes making a return. However, Cohen’s clarification turned out to be quite different from what the rumors suggested.

Christina Hubber, who is popular on Instagram as The Bravo Babe, shared Andy Cohen’s live clip where he gave major clarification about the rumors surrounding Shamea Morton and NeNe Leakes.
Cohen said, “And I read all these; there are a lot of casting rumors online which came out over the weekend, and I’m going to tell you that they’re not true.”
“And I am going to tell you that if you want a preview of next season of Atlanta, look at this cast. This is the group, guys. I mean, we love this group. So spoiler alert, we’re very happy,” Cohen added. Before addressing the rumors, Cohen praised the show and also told fans how much fun he had while filming it.
NeNe Leakes was previously a part of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, but a court dispute later created a different story between them. However, years after the legal battle, Leakes expressed that she was ready to move forward in her relationship with Andy Cohen. For now, Cohen’s live clip makes it clear that NeNe is not part of the cast.
Talking about the rumors surrounding Shamea Morton’s firing, Cohen made it clear that those reports were completely false. Morton is returning as a part of the Housewives cast, along with Porsha Williams, Phaedra Parks, Drew Sidora, Kelli Ferrell, and Angela Oakley.
The Real Housewives of Atlanta is led by Andy Cohen as executive producer, while Steven Weinstock and Glenda Hersh are also part of the production team.
