According to People, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s upcoming project as producers has made their children happy. The royal kids were reportedly enjoying cookies available throughout the production of Cookie Queens.
The actress revealed the detail about her kids during a special screening of Cookie Queens in LA. When asked whether her kids had seen the film, she said they hadn’t, but recalled how they were enjoying cookies. She said, “They love all the cookies that we’ve had throughout this process.”
Markle also shared her favorite Girl Scout cookies. She said she likes Thin Mints as “It’s such a classic.”
Earlier during her appearance on MasterChef Australia, she shared her dessert policy for kids. She said, “They eat Brussels sprouts,” and “If they say, ‘Mama, can I have dessert?’ We say, ‘If you can pick it, you can have it.'”
“You can’t pick chocolate!” Sofia Levin jokingly responded.
Markle said, “No, you can’t pick chocolate, but you can pick a nice piece of fruit. We always have a nice, as my husband would say, ‘pud.'”
During the Cookie Queens’ screening, Markle shared that the documentary was more than just treats. She also praised the younger girls in the documentary, saying they impressed her with their ambition, kindness, and curiosity.
Cookie Queens premiered at the Sundance Film Festival earlier this year and is scheduled for a theatrical release on August 7.
