A violent hailstorm brought Bad Bunny’s Milan concert to a frightening halt on Saturday, July 18. Emergency crews cleared the outdoor venue as large hailstones struck concertgoers and sent thousands searching for shelter.

Bad Bunny had begun the second of his two Milan shows at the SNAI La Maura Hippodrome when severe weather swept across the city. Videos on X showed heavy rain, strong winds, and large hailstones pounding the venue as fans rushed for cover.
ANSA reported that the storm struck shortly after 9 p.m. Milan firefighters helped thousands of people leave the grounds, while emergency medical teams treated several fans for head injuries from the hail.
Organizers first asked the crowd to remain in place because they hoped the storm would pass quickly. When conditions worsened, staff directed fans toward the emergency exits. Authorities also closed the nearby Uruguay Metro station early to control the departing crowd.
Live Nation said thunderstorms and hail forced organizers to stop the Milan concert and begin the evacuation. The promoter later canceled the show after deciding it could not secure another date. “The safety of everyone in attendance is always our top priority,” Live Nation said. The company promised every ticket holder a full refund, including advance booking fees. Police officers and event staff stayed at the venue after the evacuation to secure the grounds.
The cancellation ended the Italian leg of Bad Bunny’s Debí Tirar Más Fotos World Tour. His first Milan show drew a sold-out crowd of about 80,000 people on July 17. The emergency interrupted another major stretch in the singer’s career. Earlier this year, he made history with his Super Bowl halftime performance. He also cleared his Instagram page after the show, leaving fans searching for clues about his next move.
For the concertgoers who suffered injuries during the hailstorm, however, the night became far more serious than a canceled show.
