Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are officially married. The pop superstar and NFL player, both 36, tied the knot in a star-studded ceremony at Madison Square Garden on July 3, officiated by comedian Adam Sandler. The couple shared an emotional moment as they exchanged vows.

Swift’s 20-minute vows to Kelce are said to have left the athlete “very emotional,” reports Page Six. A guest stated, “You would think the bride would be the one crying more, but it was actually Travis who was more emotional.”
An insider told People, “Taylor talked about how Travis was the guy in high school who, even though he was the star athlete, would go sit with the less-popular kids who were being bullied at lunchtime. And Taylor talked about how she wished she [had known] someone like that when she was in high school. It was so special.”
Swift reportedly became “tearful” after Kelce “promised to protect her forever.” According to a source, the Kansas City Chiefs star appeared “nervous” as he expressed his love for the singer in front of around 1,000 guests, including Selena Gomez, Ed Sheeran, Camila Cabello, Blake Lively, Ryan Reynolds, and Bradley Cooper.
According to Page Six, Good Morning America co-host George Stephanopoulos called the vows “everything you would hope for,” praising their emotional and heartfelt nature. He added, “[It was] as intimate as it could be, given that it was Madison Square Garden. … It’s hard to imagine a place that big and a wedding with such stars could feel so personal.”
Romance rumors between Swift and Kelce, both 36, began in the summer of 2023 after he spoke about her on his podcast New Heights. On August 26, 2025, Swift announced her engagement. In an Instagram post, she shared a series of photos said to have been taken in the backyard of Kelce’s Kansas City home with a caption, “Your English teacher and gym teacher are getting married.”
