Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are reportedly turning their wedding day into a late-night New York party. The pop superstar and Chiefs tight end could welcome around 1,000 guests at Madison Square Garden. A new report said arrivals start in the afternoon, before the celebration runs deep into the night. The party reportedly stretches until 2 a.m., giving the wedding a full arena-sized timeline.
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding after-party will stretch past midnight, claims report
As per a CBS News report, law enforcement sources outlined the wedding schedule. The report said guests should arrive around 3:30 p.m. through a VIP tented area. The usual flow would include a cocktail hour, ceremony, reception, and late-night party.
Sources said the party was “expected to go till 2 a.m.” The outlet also said a Thursday rehearsal dinner happened at MSG. About 100 family members and friends have reportedly received invitations. The report said the setup was planned under tight secrecy.
Meanwhile, security remained a major part of the setup. CBS News reported that private security would operate at Madison Square Garden. The NYPD will reportedly manage fans and paparazzi outside. Streets directly around the arena were also set for closures. Inside, crews were building a massive set for musical entertainment. People editor-in-chief Charlotte Triggs called it “an absolute, spectacular blowout.” She said it “doesn’t look at all the same inside” and added, “They’ve completely transformed it.”
Nevertheless, the late-night wedding party marked a very public love story. Travis Kelce first discussed missing Taylor Swift on “New Heights.” He said, “I was a little butthurt” about not giving her a bracelet. The tight end said it carried his phone number. Swift later said it was “shocking” how many similarities they had. She added, “Ultimately, we love cheering each other on.” In August 2025, they announced their engagement with the caption: “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married.”
