Kid Rock Calls Friendship with Donald Trump ‘Front Row Seat’ to ‘S—t Show’

Kid Rock has shared details about his friendship with President Donald Trump. The MAGA country-rock singer described their bond as “fucking awesome,” adding that it offers him “a front row seat to the greatest sh*t show on Earth.”

Kid Rock explains why he believes being close to Donald Trump is never boring

Speaking to Sky News Australia host Paul Murray, the 55-year-old singer, born Bob Ritchie, revealed that calling Trump has turned into one of his “late-night drinking tricks,” since he knows when the president will answer. He said, as per NME, “He’s so gracious. He always picks up. Or he’ll call and check in, just to shoot the shit most of the time. He’s not calling me to, like, ‘Hey, what should we do in Iran, Bob?’ I don’t get those calls.”

Rock, who appeared on a one-hour special as part of Trump’s America: 250 Years in the Making, recollected, “I was sitting around having some beers. It’s, like, 11:00, 12:00 on a Friday or Saturday. I know he’s up. He sleeps like me — he sleeps for five hours. And I’ll be, like, ‘Hey, let’s call the President and bullshit.’ And people will be, like, ‘What?’ And he’ll be, like, ‘Hey, Bob, what’s up?’ And blah, blah, blah. It’s the best.” Adding, “I enjoy the hell out of hanging out with him and talking with him and just having a front-row seat to the greatest sh*t show on Earth.”

He also defended Trump, saying he believes the president is committed to America. He said he knows Trump’s “heart and soul,” and believes the president’s focus is on the country.

In February, the longtime Trump supporter headlined Turning Point USA’s alternative Super Bowl halftime show. As per The Daily Beast, he also joined Trump at the Oval Office for the signing of an executive order on ticket pricing for live entertainment last April, and earlier this year partnered with RFK Jr. on a “Make America Healthy Again” campaign.
