However, royal expert Robert Bell criticized the couple’s stance, claiming their approach could be viewed as an attempt to pressure the Royal Family. He said, “It almost feels like they’re trying to blackmail the Royal Family at all times to get what they want, whereas they’re saying everything is fine. I am pretty sure the security arrangements that would be in place would be perfectly acceptable. But why?”
He suggested the Royal Family would be upset over Prince Harry’s decision not to bring his family. Robert Bell added that King Charles and other members of the Royal Family may be frustrated by the ongoing tension surrounding the situation.
However, according to Express.co.uk, a spokesperson for the Duke of Sussex said: “The issue is whether appropriate and proportionate protective security is being provided throughout the entirety of the visit.”
