Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Draw Attention After Princess Diana Gravesite Reports Surface

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are reportedly planning a trip to Britain that could include a visit to Princess Diana’s gravesite at Althorp House. The fact that a camera crew will be accompanying them has also sparked speculation over whether the Sussexes could document the emotional moment for a future Netflix project.

According to reports, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are expected to return to Britain with Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet for the first time in four years.

Prince Harry and wife Meghan spark speculation they might film at Princess Diana’s gravesite

RadarOnline reports that some royal insiders are wondering if Harry and Meghan might document a visit to Diana’s gravesite, particularly given their history of sharing deeply personal moments with the public.

The Sussexes are expected to arrive in the U.K. in July, with reports suggesting they could stay at Althorp House. The 14,000-acre estate belonging to the Spencer family is set to be closed to the public on July 14 and 15, adding to speculation that the property has been reserved for a private family visit.

While King Charles III has reportedly offered either Buckingham Palace or St. James’s Palace as an accommodation, it is still unclear whether the couple will be meeting him.

Markle first visited Diana’s gravesite in 2017 and shared deeply personal moments with her then-boyfriend Prince Harry. The latter recalls thinking, “At long last, I was bringing the girl of my dreams home to meet mum.” Sharing the experience in his memoir, “Spare”, Prince Harry recollects, “We hesitated, hugging, and then I went first. I placed flowers on the grave. Meg gave me a moment, and I spoke to my mother in my head, told her I missed her, asked her for guidance and clarity.”

While details of the trip remain under wraps, fresh speculations have also surfaced about privacy and filming permits at the historic site.
