Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck are arguably the most amicable exes in Hollywood. A source recently informed Globe that the “Good Will Hunting” star arrives unannounced at her home at times and spends days on the visit. The duo was also spotted grabbing lunch together in Los Angeles last month.
However, a source told Globe that Garner’s relationship with Affleck has allegedly left her boyfriend, John Miller, in doubt. “John’s friends do not understand how he puts up with this,” the insider said. “They’re telling him [that] he needs to give Jen an ultimatum — that it’s either him or Ben — but there’s no way John will do that.”
They stated that Miller knew Garner “wouldn’t react well.” They also added that her relationship with Affleck is “undeniably codependent,” but it is also “the reality of the situation.” The bottom line is that the Cali Burger CEO reportedly wants “some healthy boundaries.”
The source explained, “The problem is that Ben always uses the kids as the pretense for being around, so there isn’t much John can say, even if he suspects that Ben has ulterior motives.” Adding that Miller had tried to sort it out with Affleck, the insider said, “And there’s no point in having a man-to-man chat. John says he’s tried that before and Ben has said all the right things and then nothing has changed. If anything, Ben and Jen seem to be getting closer.”
The former couple is also allegedly planning to spend some of their summer holidays together. “Jen has invited John to join them. She isn’t shutting him out, but the reality is he will be the odd man out. It will be like he’s joining their family vacation,” the source revealed.
