Hunger Games Star Arrested for Violating Protective Order

Ethan Jamieson has landed in legal trouble again after a new arrest in North Carolina. The former “The Hunger Games” actor was taken into custody after authorities accused him of violating a protective order connected to firearm possession.

Hunger Games’ Ethan Jamieson was arrested after violating a protective order for having a weapon

According to court documents obtained by TMZ, Ethan Jamieson was arrested in Wake County on May 12, 2026. Authorities claimed he violated an active protective order by possessing a firearm.

Earlier this year, Jamieson was charged with three counts of assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill following a March 23 incident in Raleigh. Court filings alleged three men, identified as E.F., J.M., and K.W., were assaulted with a 9mm semi-automatic handgun.

“During the course of the investigation, detectives identified Ethan Jamieson (27) as the individual who discharged a single gunshot in the direction of the victims’ vehicle,” the court documents added.

Investigators reportedly linked Jamieson to the case after witness descriptions matched a suspect seen riding an e-bike near the scene. The actor later secured a $150,000 bond following his April arrest. He is again scheduled to appear at the Wake County District Court in North Carolina on June 10.

Jamieson is best known for appearing in the 2012 blockbuster “Hunger Games” as the male tribute from District 4. He also appeared in smaller television roles over the years, including “One Tree Hill” and “Justified.” As of now, no upcoming acting projects tied to him have been announced publicly as of now.

According to WBTV, this is not the 27-year-old’s first run-in with the law. Reports previously stated he was arrested in 2025 on a charge of “resisting a public officer” in North Carolina. He later pleaded guilty and served a short jail sentence before being released.
