Eva Longoria has finally wrapped up her new project, a female comedy movie titled “The Fifth Wheel,” starring Kim Kardashian. The “Overboard” actor spoke to PEOPLE magazine, stating that after three months of filming, she finally wrapped up her “dream job.” She further added that the project ended in Vegas.
Longoria described this huge project as “unapologetically R-rated female comedy that feels modern and contemporary.”
Fortune Feimster, Brenda Song, Kardashian, and Nikki Glaser star in the film. According to the official synopsis, the film is about friends who try to “reconnect during a weekend jaunt to Vegas.” However, things take a drastic turn when an outsider crashes the weekend, as per the synopsis.
Kardashian, who stars in the film, is also one of the producers alongside Will Ferrell. Sharing her experience of working with the reality TV star, Longoria said that she is the “anchor of the movie.” She continued, “We just had a blast. Kim and I have been friends for 25 years, and when I got the job, she said, ‘Oh, thank God Eva knows I’m funny.’ ”
Longoria also added that she wants the world to see the amazing work Kardashian has done in the film and ” hopefully spark more female comedies.”
The 51-year-old shared her experience of working with the cast and crew of “The Fifth Wheel,” saying every moment was filled with joy. Talking about Glaser, she said she is “profound” and “incredibly insightful.” As for Feimster, she said she is “a joy to be around.”
