An incident took place during the filming of the Formula 1 movie “F1.” This was after one of the real-life racing stars from the list reportedly chose not to interact with the iconic actor at all, leaving onlookers shocked.
F1 Star reportedly ‘ignored’ Brad Pitt on movie set for this reason
During the filming of the movie, “F1,” many Formula One stars featured, including Lewis Hamilton, Max Verstappen, Charles Leclerc, Carlos Sainz Jr., and others. However, Brad Pitt also had quite an unexpected experience when a beloved Formula One racing star refused to acknowledge his presence on the set. The famous driver in question was Oscar Piastri, who appeared alongside Pitt during a scene in the film.
Despite standing right next to the actor in the driver lineup while the national anthem played, apparently Piastri didn’t strike up a conversation with him or even acknowledge his mere presence, according to Dexerto. Meanwhile, Piastri’s mum, Nicole, later opened up about a conversation that she had with her son during an interview with The Herald Sun. She exclaimed, “We watched the F1 movie, he made no mention of that, and in one scene he’s standing next to Brad Pitt in the driver line-up when they’re singing the national anthem.”
She further added, “So when I spoke to him the next time, I said, ‘I know you’ve met Brad Pitt’, he said, ‘I’m pretty sure I haven’t’. I go, ‘Mate, I saw you. I saw him standing next to you.” When she showed him the video, he apparently gave her a hilarious reply. She explained, “He goes, ‘What are you going to say to that old guy?’ So, fame has not changed him one bit.”
