A new video in the potential kidnapping case of missing Arizona woman Nancy Guthrie has fueled questions about her kidnapper, and Megyn Kelly explored them on her show. Investigators have not publicly tied the footage to Guthrie’s disappearance. However, Kelly argued that the route described in the reports points to the abductor’s planning and is not something that happened by chance.
Megyn Kelly alleges Nancy Guthrie’s kidnapper was clear where he was driving
On a recent episode of The Megyn Kelly Show on YouTube, Kelly discussed Ring camera footage from Fox News that was supposedly related to Nancy Guthrie’s kidnapping case. The video was recorded in the Catalina Foothills area around the time Guthrie vanished on February 1.
It reportedly shows a white car leaving the neighborhood in the early morning hours. In this context, Kelly said she found the timing and location hard to ignore. Fox News Digital described the camera’s location as a back road that can lead out of the neighborhood while avoiding major intersections.
Additionally, Kelly noted the conflicting reporting that followed after Fox News published the video. This included a TMZ report that cited an FBI source who called the video an impasse.
Kelly brought on former FBI agents James Fitzgerald and Maureen O’Connell to break down what the footage could mean. O’Connell discussed how law enforcement can use location data and vehicle information to narrow down who drove through an area during a specific time window. On the other hand, Fitzgerald focused on what the road itself suggests.
Looking at the map and the back-road setting described in the reporting, Fitzgerald said, “This is not a wrong turn you make.” He added, “You’re there for a reason. You know where you’re going most likely.” To this, Kelly agreed, saying, “Clearly the person who took Nancy knew where he was going.”
Nancy Guthrie and her potential kidnapper still remain missing. At the moment, Megyn Kelly’s analysis with experts is another attempt to turn over the stone in the case. Authorities have released details indicating a masked person appeared at her home in the early hours of February 1, and her pacemaker app later stopped syncing with her phone. Her family has also offered a $1 million reward for information.
