One Piece & Naruto Fans Can Now Create Their Own Manga Panel T-Shirts

For years, manga fans have gone above and beyond to save their favorite comic book panels. They also shared them online, turning them into accessories, wallpapers, and posters, just so they can hold them close. Well, now there is some special news for these ardent fans.

Now, panels from popular manga series are moving from screens to wardrobes. Readers can now officially transform their favorite manga panels into custom T-shirts, giving fandom fashion a rather personal twist. The initiative is courtesy of MANGA Plus, the platform by Shueisha.

According to Dexerto, avid users can now get licensed fashion choices and use real panels from any of their beloved hit manga series. This means that legendary moments from titles like One Punch Man, One Piece, Sakamoto Days, Jujutsu Kaisen, Demon Slayer, Bleach, Naruto, My Hero Academia, and various other globally loved titles can now be a part of wardrobes around the globe. This is a rare crossover between fashion and Manga comics, with a side of official licensing and fan creativity.

This unique feature will let readers apply their own creativity effortlessly, enabling them to design exquisite merch that feels uniquely theirs, rather than just choosing from a limited collection of pre-made drops.

They also dropped an official statement about how this is supposed to work. This is further explained: “Users can select a manga page directly on the platform from any language and create a custom t-shirt featuring that page. The designs are printed in Japan and will be the original Japanese artwork and text, offering fans a new way to enjoy manga beyond the screen.”

The statement further read, “The printed Japanese version is the very first version published. This means they’re the magazine version if they’re a Weekly Shonen Jump title, such as One Piece and Sakamoto Days.

These magazine versions may include promotional text or differ slightly from the translated versions.” However, they made it clear that “Page selection is limited to eligible pages within supported titles and chapters. Certain titles, chapters, and pages may not be selectable. Selectable pages are marked with a ‘Create’ icon in the bottom right.”
