Action Bronson Scraps A Second Australian Tour

For the second time in 2014, American rapper Action Bronson has pulled the pin on a tour of Down Under.

The Queens, New York native was set to appear as a headline act at summer festivals Beyond The Valley, Field Day in Sydney and Origin NYE in Perth, citing recording commitments as the reason for a second no-show after bailing on this year’s Groovin The Moo and a number of his own headline shows due to “unforeseen circumstances”.

“Due to recording commitments Action Bronson has to cancel is upcoming Australian tour,” the rapper’s management said in a press release via Beyond The Valley.

Fans heading to the inaugural Phillip Island festival don’t need to bury their heads in Bronson-sized 3XL t-shirts- Beyond the Valley has announced the inclusion of added hip-hop supergroup One Day, made up of Horrorshow, Spit Syndicate, Joyride and Jackie Onassis, to join an already bustling lineup featuring The Preatures, Pond, Rufus and Ball Park Music.

Field Day have also called on One Day to replace Bronson, however the group will be without Raph and Kai from Jackie Onassis. A “regretful” Origin NYE are “working hard on securing a replacement”, but is yet to announce a new headliner.
