‘Blurred Lines’ Banned by University for “Degrading Women”

Robin Thicke’s ‘Blurred Lines’ has been banned by Leeds University, the second university in the UK to do so.

The number one song, of which the unrated video sees a parade of models wandering around semi-naked, has been banned from the campus’ three nightclubs and two bars due to its controversial lyrics. A spokesperson for Leeds’ student union said: “The song undermines and degrades women. The reaction has been mainly positive.

“A few students are asking why if we have banned this song, we aren’t banning everything, but we’ve chosen this one as an example, because it’s so popular.” The song has also been banned at the University of Edinburgh.

Robin Thicke has previously claimed that ‘Blurred Lines’ is a “feminist movement within itself”, because Robin Thicke is an idiot.
