Mary Lynn Rajskub Returns For ‘24: Live Another Day’

In the closing moments of “24,” Jack Bauer (Kiefer Sutherland) thanked Chloe O’Brian for watching his back for years before going on the run from his own country. Next year, Jack is back on Fox in the “24: Live Another Day” miniseries.

And where Jack goes, Chloe is sure to follow.

At the Television Critics Association Press Tour, Fox officially announced that Mary Lynn Rajskub will reprise her role as Chloe O’Brian in “24: Live Another Day.” In a brief written statement, Rajskub said “There’s a lot more room to grow in my character. I’m going to start sharpening my computer skills now!”

Rajskub first appeared as Chloe during the third season of “24” and she remained on the series through the end of the eighth season. After her stint on “24,” Rajskub made guest appearances in “Flight of the Conchords,” “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia,” “Royal Pains,” “Modern Family,” “Raising Hope,” “New Girl,” “Arrested Development” and had a starring role in “How to Be a Gentleman.” More recently, Rajskub has co-starred in the films Safety Not Guaranteed and The Kings of Summer.

“24: Live Another Day” reportedly takes place a few years after the eighth season of “24.” There are also rumors that Kim Raver may reprise her role as Jack’s former lover, Audrey Raines. But that has not yet been confirmed.

Fox has slated “24: Live Another Day” to premiere in May 2014.
