Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star Jen Affleck is making headlines. The reality television personality has filed for divorce. The news comes while she is expecting her fourth child. Jen and Zac Affleck are ending their seven-year marriage.
Jen Affleck files for divorce from Zac Affleck after seven years of marriage
According to TMZ, Jen Affleck filed for divorce from Zac Affleck on November 3. The filing was made in Utah’s Fourth Judicial District Court. Court documents reportedly include a proposed parenting plan.
However, the details of that plan remain private. The filing does not reveal their reason for separating. It also does not disclose any requested custody arrangements. Jen Affleck and Zac Affleck first met through the Mormon dating app Mutual.
Their relationship began in 2018. The couple got engaged the following year before marrying in June 2019. They have since welcomed three children together: Nora, Luca, and Penelope.
Nora was born in November 2021. Their son Luca arrived in July 2023. Their youngest daughter, Penelope, was born in summer 2025. Jen announced her fourth pregnancy in June 2026. The divorce filing comes during another major family change.
Jen and Zac’s relationship has featured prominently on Hulu’s The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives. The first season documented several difficult moments. Their disagreements included Zac’s gambling and Jen’s possible Chippendales show visit.
In season two, they briefly separated before Jen’s third pregnancy. However, they eventually reconciled and appeared together in seasons three and four. Season five showed fresh arguments over Jen’s career choices as Zac reportedly threatened divorce over an acting role.
