During the latest episode of her Disrespectfully podcast with Dayna Kathan, Maloney addressed the rumors. A fan had reportedly suggested she hated Ariana. Maloney dismissed the claim with a brief response.
“There’s no rumors that we hate Ariana … Bizarre,” she said. Her response dismissed suggestions of a falling-out between the former co-stars. She did not suggest any ongoing conflict between them.
The former co-stars also share a business venture. They opened Something About Her, their sandwich shop, in May 2024. Maloney recently discussed the challenges of keeping the restaurant running.
“It is so expensive. It’s just like you need just big old pockets, beaucoup bucks,” she admitted. She described the financial demands as one of the biggest challenges of running the business. Running a restaurant has required constant investment.
Maloney also emphasized the importance of adapting quickly. She explained that restaurant owners should not expect immediate profits. Instead, they must remain flexible and continue reinvesting in their businesses.
Despite the difficulties, Maloney called the experience “incredibly rewarding.” She also stressed the importance of building a trustworthy team. She emphasized the importance of working with people who share her vision for the business.
Maloney also discussed where she currently stands with another former co-star, Stassi Schroeder. When asked whether they were still on good terms, she replied, “Yeah, last time I checked.”
She acknowledged that they do not spend much time together. “I mean, I know we don’t hang out a lot, but for the most part, yeah, I think we’re okay,” she explained.
Maloney attributed their limited time together to Stassi’s busy schedule. She mentioned Stassi’s filming commitments in Austria and recent travel to Nashville and New York. Despite their busy schedules, Maloney suggested that she and Schroeder remain on good terms.
