All seasons of Power to stream on Netflix next month
According to a report by What’s On Netflix, Netflix will stream all six seasons of the Power series on November 9, 2026. The series ended in February 2020.
The show had a major cast including Omar Hardwick, 50 Cent, Naturi Naughton, Joseph Sikora, Lela Loren, Michael Rainey Jr., Shane Johnson, and many more. Created by Courtney A. Kemp, the Power series was one of Starz’s biggest hits, generating a large number of views.
On Rotten Tomatoes, Power earned a good score of 81 percent on the Tomatometer based on audience reviews. It received the same score on Popcornmeter based on critic reviews.
Despite the series’ massive reception, the final season received a slightly lower score on the platform: 61 percent on the Popcornmeter.
Power Season 6 pulled an estimated average of 10 million views across multiple platforms after its release, making it the network’s most-watched series overall. However, the network announced in May 2019 that the series would not return for a seventh season.
Kemp said in a statement, “We will follow some of your beloved ‘Power’ characters beyond the scope of the initial series.” She added that she and the network will try to meet fans’ expectations. Kemp asserted that they will try to expand on the storylines of the characters in order to create a universe based on them, which will be “as unpredictable as the original.” (via Variety)
Carmi Zlotnik of Starz also teased that fans will get to see spin-offs based on their favorite characters from the Power universe. According to People Magazine, 50 Cent, who played Kanan Stark, also thanked fans for their support in a statement.
