PAW Patrol: The Dino Movie beats The End of Oak Street to become 2026’s biggest dinosaur movie
PAW Patrol: The Dino Movie arrived in theaters on August 14, 2026, the same day as The End of Oak Street. Both films became commercial successes and received mostly positive reviews from critics. The End of Oak Street follows a suburban family whose neighborhood is mysteriously transported to a prehistoric world, forcing them to fight for survival as dinosaurs roam their streets.
Although the two movies had a close start at the box office, PAW Patrol ended up narrowly surpassing the Anne Hathaway-led film. According to Box Office Mojo, the animated feature made $9.1 million between August 21 and 23, 2026, while The End of Oak Street earned $9 million in that period. PAW Patrol eventually grossed $160.9 million worldwide, whereas Oak Street collected $122 million.
PAW Patrol: The Dino Movie has now officially become the biggest dinosaur movie of the year.
