G Flip and Chrishell Stause announced their split Monday, October 26, but neither publicly disclosed the reason for their separation. According to TMZ, sources close to the situation said G Flip was the one who decided to end their relationship.
Stause shared an emotional video on Instagram announcing the split. The reality star said she wanted to share the news because of the public support for their relationship. While discussing the breakup, Stause was seen wiping away tears.
“I feel like a little bit of a failure. There’s nothing you could say about me that would be worse than what I say to myself. I just have to kind of heal and figure this out. It’s hard. It’s painful.”
TMZ previously reported that Stause said she and G Flip had agreed to handle their public separation with love and respect. She also said she was still in love with G Flip.
G Flip also addressed the split on Instagram. They wrote, “After 4+ years, Chrishell and I are no longer together. I will always love her; we will always share a special connection, and I cherish our memories together. My head & heart are feeling very heavy right now, and I’m not able to talk, but I want to thank you all for your support and appreciate you respecting our privacy at this difficult time.”
While G Flip’s post had comments disabled, Stause received supportive messages from followers.
Stause’s ex-boyfriend Jason Oppenheim also offered support. Oppenheim commented on Stause’s Instagram post, “I’m really sorry to hear this. I’m thinking of you and sending you my love. You’re both beautiful people, and sometimes things just don’t work out, but it certainly doesn’t mean anyone failed.”
The former couple went public with their relationship in May 2022 during the Selling Sunset Season 5 reunion and married in Las Vegas in May 2023. They later celebrated their relationship with additional wedding ceremonies and vow renewals.
Neither Stause nor G Flip has publicly explained what led to their split. TMZ’s report that G Flip initiated the breakup comes from sources close to the situation.
