What happens in the Dead Giveaway trailer?
The official trailer for Dead Giveaway opens with “Jill’s typical Sunday.” It begins with her in an upbeat mood as she goes out to party at night. However, on her way home from the club, she trips on something or someone before the screen cuts to black.
The trailer then shifts to “This particular Sunday,” Jill wakes up with a hangover, only to find a dead man lying next to her in bed. Horrified, she tells her best friend Lia about it before finding another strange man tied up in her closet.
The preview goes on to show Jill trying her best to remember what led to this bizarre situation, while also figuring out how to handle it before their brunch time. The ladies run into more trouble as they try to cover up the crime. The clip also features a series of some of the most hilarious moments from the film.
At one point, a frustrated Lia tells Jill, “I find out that you killed a guy and I missed brunch because of it. I will personally beat you with something very heavy!” The trailer ends with Jill hilariously assuring, “This is not how I typically start my Sundays.”
