Former aide to Donald Trump Alyssa Farah Griffin recently joked about the President’s remark regarding Senator Jon Husted.
While addressing a crowd in Ohio, Trump complimented Husted’s body, a comment that seemed to creep out many people on social media. He said, “He’s over here, I’m over here, and I’m studying his body. I’ve never studied the body of a man before. It’s not my thing.” The President continued that there is nothing wrong with a man studying another man’s body and started talking about Husted’s butt.
He added, “Nothing wrong with it, of course, but I looked at his a**. And then I looked at his legs, and I said, his a**, it’s like a pile of muscle.” (via Entertainment Weekly)
Commenting on the remarks made by Trump, Griffin discussed it with her co-hosts on the Friday episode of The View and joked, “As the saying goes, we’re all a little gay. He’s just leaning right into it.” She asserted that this is not the first time Trump has commented on men’s physique. She also called out the President for avoiding discussing major topics of concern with Americans at rallies, such as the Iran war, gas prices, and more.
Trump also praised Husted for being a great athlete in the past, stating, “I looked, and I watched up and down, and I looked at his a** … and I looked at the whole… and then I looked at his hands, look at his hands, he’s got these, like, claws… and I got it.”
