The Sun reports that Markle’s half-brother, Thomas Markle Jr., has asked for her forgiveness after supporting their father, Thomas Markle Sr., who’s facing serious allegations at present.
According to the outlet, he said, “I’m so, so sorry. I now know I have been protecting the wrong person for the past nine years.” He now calls the man he defended a “monster,” claiming he finally sees the clear picture.
“I now know exactly why you don’t talk to him any more and why you won’t let him meet Harry or his grandchildren. And I’m ashamed that I spent years taking his side when you fell out with him,” he further added.
The half-brother further addressed Markle, acknowledging that they aren’t close. However, he remembered the time they spent together during her childhood. He revealed that he held her and looked after her when she was a baby. He also asked her to accept his apology and wished her family well.
This update comes after Meghan addressed the reports alleging that her estranged father had disturbing images and videos at his Philippines home. She was “deeply distressed” by the news and shared her take on the situation.
She said, “The breadth of what has now been uncovered is more sickening than one could ever imagine.” Reports state that Thomas Jr. recently told police he discovered “hundreds, if not thousands” of explicit images involving minors across four large boxes in his father’s home.
