James Bond Casting Odds Give One Star the Edge Over Callum Turner & Jack O’Connell

James Bond casting rumors continue, with a new report highlighting one popular contender for the coveted role. The search for the next 007 may be entering its final stages.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Jack Lowden, Callum Turner, and Jack O’Connell are reportedly among the finalists to play James Bond. While an official announcement is still pending, fans appear to have decided on their favorite contender among the three. A popular British betting-odds comparison platform, Oddschecker, reports that Slow Horses star Lowden is at the lead with 8/13 odds or a 62% probability of landing the role. Turner, star of One Night Only, follows with a reported 25% chance. Josh O’Connor takes third place at 13%.

Other names linked to the role include O’Connell, Richard Madden, Aaron Pierre, Jacob Elordi, and Henry Cavill.

According to a recent THR report, Lowden and Turner are reportedly expected to appear for a final screen test this weekend in London. Two sources claim that the tests could begin as early as Friday.

Jack Lowden has long been in the spotlight for the role. Speculation about Lowden’s chances intensified after his Slow Horses co-star, Gary Oldman, suggested that the filmmakers had already chosen him. Last month during an interview with Canada’s The Morning Show, he said, “They have made their choice, but they have not announced it yet. So my fingers are crossed for Jack.”

In addition to the lead role, there has also been widespread speculation regarding who could be the next “Bond girl.” Fans are betting on Margaret Qualley to land the role. According to BetOnline, she leads the odds with a 33% chance, followed by Sydney Sweeney at 25%. Anya Taylor-Joy, Florence Pugh, and Zendaya have also made the list.

For now, there has been no official announcement regarding the James Bond casting.
