Prince Harry and Meghan Markle reportedly gave off major comeback energy during their first joint public outing since returning to live in the UK. A body language expert claimed the Duke and Duchess of Sussex acted as if they had never stepped away from royal-style engagements. The couple visited Nottingham on October 15, where fans lined the streets to greet them.
Expert claims the Sussexes’ body language signaled a confident return to royal-style engagements
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle stepped out for a series of royal-style engagements, marking their first joint appearance since moving back to the UK at the end of August. Fans had gathered along the streets, and the couple seemingly appeared in high spirits. They reportedly smiled and paused to chat with members of the public.
Body language expert Judi James analyzed footage of the outing and told The Express US that the couple’s greeting rituals gave the return a big-event feel. She compared the atmosphere to an Oasis comeback concert. According to the expert, the pair strode along eagerly with bright eyes and joined hands, almost as though a huge, ecstatic crowd was cheering them on. In reality, the crowd was reportedly smaller, though warm and friendly.
James also suggested that Harry took center stage. The expert claimed the Duke seemingly fell right back into old habits, throwing himself into lively, playful chats with children. She said it showed he still knows how to connect with kids, as though he had never been away.
However, Meghan was reportedly not shying away from the spotlight. The expert noted that the Duchess appeared slightly more gracious and measured as she followed behind her husband. Still, her poses and facial expressions allegedly suggested she was delighted to receive a fan-style royal reception again.
Furthermore, James pointed to the mother of two’s hand-on-chest gesture, which she described as a sign of modest gratitude toward the smiling faces. As the couple walked into the building with clasped hands and wide, open-mouthed smiles, the expert claimed they appeared to announce, “We’re back!”
