Nobody Wants This Season 3 Reviews Are Saying the Same Thing

The reviews for Nobody Wants This Season 3 point to a noticeable improvement over the previous season. Critics praise Kristen Bell and Adam Brody’s chemistry and the fresh direction of Joanne and Noah’s relationship. However, some feel the show still has a few issues to work through.

Nobody Wants This Season 3 reviews call it a level-up from Season 2

Reviews for Nobody Wants This Season 3 suggest the Netflix romantic comedy has improved considerably since its second season. Critics have praised the stronger direction of Joanne and Noah’s relationship, along with Kristen Bell and Adam Brody’s performances.

Meredith Loftus of Collider noted the difference between the latest episodes and Season 2. “Where Season 2 felt like it was spinning its wheels, Season 3 wastes no time. Noah and Joanne, and, by extension, the show, are taking this commitment seriously, embracing new chapters and facing the hurdles of their relationship head-on.”

Loftus also praised the show’s progress, adding, “After a stalling season, Nobody Wants This returns with a satisfying arc that moves its story and characters forward in substantial ways.”

Alex Bear of Riot similarly wrote, “In my review of the previous season, I wrote that I wasn’t sure if Nobody Wants This needed a follow-up. I’m glad to say it was all just a sophomore slump, as Season 3 finds its rhythm again.” The critic added, “Bell and Brody’s wonderful chemistry continues to shine, maintaining the beating heart of the series.”

Kelly Woo of Tom’s Guide praised the returning leads, writing, “The romantic comedy series returns with plenty of the charm that made its first season such a hit. Bell and Brody remain an effortlessly likable pairing.” She also noted, “For all my complaints about the pacing, ‘Nobody Wants This’ Season 3 is still an enjoyable, charming rom-com.”

Angie Han of The Hollywood Reporter wrote, “Nobody Wants This might be on its way to becoming a sweeter, more even-keeled version of itself, but it can’t completely shake the bad habits that have made it nearly as exasperating as it is endearing.” Meanwhile, Liz Hersey of ScreenRant noted, “Season 3 is a return to form for Noah and Joanne, who are back to their almost sickeningly sweet (but actually very cute) lovey-doveyness.”
