Kylie Jenner’s $5M Victoria’s Secret Check Has Supermodels ‘Furious’ — Source

Kylie Jenner made headlines with her appearance at the 2026 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show. Now, a report about her paycheck has sparked controversy, with some insiders allegedly unhappy about the way she was treated.

Supermodels find Kylie Jenner’s $5 million Victoria’s Secret earnings ‘insulting,’ per source

Kylie Jenner reportedly earned $5 million for her brief appearance at the 2026 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, according to Rob Shuter’s Naughty But Nice. However, the alleged paycheck has not gone down well with some established models, with an insider claiming the pay gap has sparked frustration.

“Kylie got the biggest check, and the supermodels are furious,” an insider told Shuter. “These women spent decades building their careers. Kylie shows up for five minutes, collects millions and walks away. It’s insulting!”

The report also alleged that Jenner received special treatment backstage, including a private dressing room, personal security, and unlimited VIP tickets. According to another insider, the arrangements added to the perceived divide between the reality star and the other models.

Questions about Victoria’s Secret’s treatment of its models have surfaced before. Former Angel Romee Strijd also expressed disappointment over her experience with the show’s casting process. “Kylie had her own private dressing room, personal security and unlimited VIP tickets,” an insider tells Shuter. “Everyone else followed the rules. Kylie was treated like she owned the place!” Beyond the alleged pay disparity, the report raised questions about the changing priorities of the lingerie brand.

Jenner’s massive social media following and celebrity status may offer promotional value beyond traditional runway experience. However, some insiders reportedly believe this shift comes at the expense of established supermodels. “Victoria’s Secret used to celebrate supermodels. Now it celebrates Instagram followers,” a source told Shuter. “The women who built this brand are watching a reality star become its highest-paid attraction!”

The report further summed up the alleged disparity with a blunt observation: “Being a supermodel doesn’t pay nearly as well as being a Kardashian!” However, the reported $5 million paycheck and backstage arrangements have not been independently verified. The claims remain based on unnamed sources cited by Shuter.
