Kate Middleton has reportedly set a clear end goal for herself and her husband, Prince William, as the Sussexes carry out proxy royal engagements. For those unversed, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle reportedly returned to the UK on August 26 with their children. The couple intend to stay in the country for an extended period and are already carrying out quasi-royal engagements in their own capacity.
This has fueled speculation that the Sussexes are establishing a rival court to challenge the Waleses, according to a new news update.
Kate Middleton reportedly wants Prince William to ‘face forward’ amid Prince Harry’s return to the UK
Kate Middleton has reportedly advised Prince William to remain focused and keep looking forward amid Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s new activities in the UK. The Sussexes marked their first official joint visit by meeting locals, fans, and volunteers from several charitable organizations in Nottingham on October 15 (via PEOPLE).
As per OK Magazine, Harry and Meghan treated their Nottingham visit as an official royal visit, meeting and greeting fans as if they were still working royals. This has led to speculation that the Sussexes are setting up a rival court to compete with William and Kate (via Daily Express).
Now, according to a new update, the Princess of Wales remains unfazed by this development. Instead, she has allegedly advised the future king to keep moving forward and not pay heed to Harry and Meghan’s actions. Royal commentator Jennie Bond said: “She will be the voice of reason, and I think she will encourage William to face forward, get on with his job and not be bugged by their activities.”
Bond explained that perhaps Middleton’s cancer history has given her a new perspective on life. The future queen has often portrayed the role of a peacemaker in the royal family and has been a source of strength to both her husband and her father-in-law, King Charles. The Princess of Wales understands that the Sussexes are here to stay for a long time and does not want to give them unnecessary attention.
It is widely speculated that the brothers are not on speaking terms after Harry made some shocking revelations about the royal family in his interview with Oprah Winfrey and then in his 2023 memoir, “Spare.”
