Jim Carrey reportedly listed his expansive Maui home for $35 million. The listing marks another major real estate move for the actor. The waterfront property features a private beachfront setting, resort-style amenities and an unusual swinging bed in the primary suite.
Carrey purchased the Hawaiian estate for $16.5 million in 2016. A decade later, the actor listed the residence for more than twice that amount.

Jim Carrey’s Hawaii mansion features three bedrooms, 4.5 bathrooms and 4,717 square feet of living space. The property sits on nearly an acre along Keawakapu Beach and includes roughly 170 feet of waterfront.
Built in 2002, the house features a design that emphasizes indoor-outdoor living. The great room features high ceilings and opens onto a covered stone lanai. Meanwhile, the kitchen includes two large islands, white cabinetry and high-end appliances.
However, one of the most distinctive features of Carrey’s Maui home is in the primary bedroom. The suite features a swinging bed near floor-to-ceiling windows. Its bathroom featured a soaking tub and dual vanities.
As per Realtor, the outdoor space offered several additional amenities. A freeform swimming pool features natural rock elements, a grotto and a slide. The property also included an elevated spa and a shallow section designed for lounging.
Architecture firm Ike Kligerman Barkley designed the estate. Blake Hill of Hawaii Life handles the listing. The home went on the market fully furnished.
Carrey’s decision to sell came shortly after he married longtime partner Min Ah in a private Los Angeles ceremony. The couple had largely kept their relationship away from public attention, though they appeared together at the César Awards in Paris earlier in the year.
The Maui listing also followed Carrey’s sale of his longtime Brentwood property. He initially listed that Los Angeles estate for $28.9 million in 2023. After several price reductions, the home eventually sold for $17 million.
Carrey had previously discussed his preference for a quieter lifestyle away from Hollywood. He described his life in Maui as isolated. He also said he enjoyed reading, writing, painting and sketching.
The report did not indicate whether Carrey plans to purchase another Hawaiian property after selling the estate.
