Tookes reacted to the viral clip in the comments of an Instagram video shared on Oct. 18. “Oh my god lol,” she wrote before explaining that the footage showed her “on the way back when i was almost off the stage.” She also called the clip “awful” and said it did not capture her full runway moment. “Gave it my all going to the camera if you watch the real show,” she added.
During the show, the 35-year-old model wore a colorful bikini with a sequined magenta cover-up over her lower half. She paired the outfit with large pink angel wings covered in tinsel. Tookes also made a second appearance in an all-white lingerie look beneath a beaded cover-up. Despite the viral clip, she shared how happy she felt about the event.
“You guys I’m so happy!!!” Tookes wrote on her Instagram Stories on Oct. 18. She promised to share more fun moments the following day and added, “Time for some champagne. LOVE YOU ALL.” The model also summed up the experience with a simple message, “What a show.” Her posts showed excitement about the night, even as the brief runway clip drew attention online.
Tookes walked alongside several familiar Victoria’s Secret models, including Gigi Hadid, Adriana Lima, Alessandra Ambrosio and Candice Swanepoel. However, Miranda Kerr did not return for this year’s show, despite receiving an invitation.
