Brad Pitt is reportedly hoping to reconnect with his six children following years of strained family relationships. The actor has remained largely estranged from the children he shares with ex-wife Angelina Jolie, but a possible change in their living arrangements may offer him another chance to reach out.

According to the Daily Mail, a source close to Pitt claimed the actor is considering another attempt to reconnect with Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, Vivienne, and Knox. The insider suggested that Jolie’s plans to live abroad could create an opening, as her children reportedly do not intend to move with her.
“Angie now intends to live out of the States more, and Brad’s hearing it doesn’t appear any of them plan to relocate with their mother,” the source said. “That could serve as an opportunity to try to get at least some of them back in his life.”
The insider added that Pitt intends to make an effort despite the difficulties involved. He is reportedly turning to mutual friends who did not take sides during his divorce from Jolie.
“He and Angie shared a number of friends while they were a couple. Some of them didn’t take sides when they split. Brad’s relying on a couple of them to help,” the source explained.
The source also claimed that Pitt previously tried contacting his children but discovered they had changed their contact information. Despite the setbacks, he reportedly remains interested in rebuilding their relationships.
“He’ll do everything in his power to unite with them again,” the insider said.
Several of their children have since stopped using the Pitt surname. Shiloh legally changed her name to Shiloh Nouvel Jolie in 2024, while Zahara has publicly used the name Zahara Marley Jolie. The Daily Mail also reported that other siblings have taken steps to remove Pitt from their names.
For now, there has been no public indication that Pitt has reestablished contact with his children. The reported plans reflect his hopes for reconciliation, although any reunion would ultimately depend on whether his children are willing to reconnect.
