North West says people shouldn’t ‘judge a book by its cover’ over her style, per livestream. According to the Daily Mail, North, who is known for her piercings and black clunky boots, has already built a style of her own. She is also reportedly learning to deal with people who are quick to form opinions about her. During the livestream, she allegedly slammed claims that she was “demonic” because of how she dresses. “Don’t judge a book by its cover,” she said.

Kim Kardashian reportedly suggested that the black grills and piercings might be causing the misunderstanding. However, North seemingly didn’t see the link. The SKIMS founder then advised her daughter to ignore what people think. “Do you care?” she asked.

North also pointed to the white gothic Lolita outfit that she wore at her first show at The Vic Theater in Chicago. She reportedly explained that she wanted to come “like an angel.” She added that she believes in Jesus and wanted to show she is “a light, not dark.” Kardashian seemingly didn’t know that was the symbolism behind the outfit.

The reality star also reflected on how narratives about someone’s life can be the complete opposite of the truth. She claimed it is “so crazy” when people think they know. Kardashian revealed that North has wanted piercings for years. She recalled that her daughter would go to pre-K with fake ones. Meanwhile, fashion expert Rochelle White previously told the outlet that North seems to draw inspiration from Gen Z trends.
