Tulsa King Season 4 Episode 1 just killed off two major characters

The Season 4 premiere of Tulsa King delivers a major shock when Margaret Devereaux, played by Dana Delany, and Cal Thresher, played by Neal McDonough, are seemingly killed in a plane crash. The episode ends with the devastating news reaching Dwight Manfredi, leaving the future of his personal and professional life uncertain (via ScreenRant).

Cal Thresher had invited Margaret Devereaux to accompany him to a Governors’ Conference on the Mariana Islands. The pair boarded his private jet, but things took a dangerous turn when air traffic controllers could not contact the aircraft.

Everyone on board, including the pilots, appeared to be asleep. Joanne later informed Dwight Manfredi that the plane had crashed somewhere over the Pacific Ocean. The episode, however, does not directly show their deaths.

The reason behind the incident also remains unclear, raising the possibility of a technical failure or deliberate damage. Margaret’s apparent death could have a particularly serious impact on Dwight and Thresher’s death could also change the political landscape in Oklahoma.

His lieutenant governor, Amanda Clark, is expected to take his place. He previously refused to shake Dwight’s hand, suggesting their relationship could become difficult. While the death is already a major blow to Dwight, Tyson creates more trouble by killing drug dealer Santiago, bringing British gangster English Dan into the picture.

With two major characters presumed dead, a dangerous new gangster emerging, and tensions rising between Dwight’s associates, Tulsa King Season 4 has established several major conflicts for the episodes ahead.
