Meghan Markle’s ‘Look-at-Me Antics’ a Learning Lesson for Kate Middleton — Report

A columnist believes Kate Middleton could win the media war against Meghan Markle by becoming more captivating while continuing to focus on her royal duties. Now that Markle is back in Britain, there is growing curiosity about how she will adjust to life in the UK, a country she left around six years ago. She has reportedly been meeting influential people, making public appearances, and sharing glimpses of her life on Instagram, further fueling public interest. Amid this, a columnist believes Markle’s “Look-at-me antics” could offer a lesson for Middleton on how to capture the public’s attention.

Columnist explains how Kate Middleton can win media war against Meghan Markle

Nadine Dorries, a columnist for the Daily Mail, has explained how Kate Middleton could win the media war against Meghan Markle. In her column, Dorries began by discussing Middleton’s recent ride on London’s Elizabeth Line with her daughter, Princess Charlotte. Despite the surrounding security presence, the Princess of Wales reportedly behaved like an ordinary citizen, chatting with fellow travelers.

Meanwhile, Markle shared a video featuring Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet wearing their backpacks, with Dorries suggesting that the timing was no coincidence. Since returning to Britain, Markle has reportedly met with Malala Yousafzai and signed various deals. The columnist acknowledged that the Duchess of Sussex naturally wants to pursue different ventures.

According to Dorries, Middleton’s instinctive reaction to all this would be to ignore Markle’s “look-at-me antics.” She noted that the Princess of Wales remains fully devoted to her royal duties, family life, and charitable work. At the same time, Dorries believes Middleton’s current public image needs a “glow up.”

She argued that since Markle is no longer a working royal, she has greater freedom to dress casually or glamorously without being constrained by royal conventions. She can also choose her public appearances and decide what to share on social media. Middleton, on the other hand, is the future queen and must follow royal protocol, leaving her with fewer opportunities to present herself publicly as she wishes.

In Dorries’ opinion, Middleton has become somewhat less exciting and glamorous as she has shifted her focus toward her work rather than her clothes and appearance. The columnist believes the Princess of Wales should have more opportunities to showcase her glamorous side, suggesting that she might benefit from a new PR strategy.
