Kate Middleton might be done staying quiet about the royal feud. According to a source, she is allegedly urging her husband, Prince William, to make peace with Prince Harry. It was reported that the Princess of Wales believes the “ugliness” can’t go on. However, William seemingly isn’t ready to meet his brother.
Kate Middleton wants Prince William and Prince Harry to make up for the ‘greater good,’ per source
Kate Middleton reportedly chose to put on a more united front with Prince William at recent engagements. A source told Heatworld that Kate, known as the monarchy’s peacemaker, has been incredibly patient so far. However, the insider claimed she did her best to step back and let the brothers work things out on their own. But there has apparently been “zero progress.” Hence, she is now speaking up behind palace walls.
“Her instinct is to do everything she can to fix this,” the insider said. Kate would reportedly not go as far as meeting Harry behind William’s back. But she is allegedly “very loudly voicing her opinion” again. William is widely reported to have no intention of meeting face-to-face with Harry even though he has been in the UK for nearly two months.
Furthermore, the 30th anniversary of Princess Diana’s death next year might be adding more pressure. As a mother of three, Kate also can’t help but be affected by the silence. “It pains her to think of how devastated Diana would be,” the insider added.
Meanwhile, Kate allegedly fears that the feud, which has reportedly been rumbling on for almost seven years, is hurting the monarchy. She reportedly believes it’s bad for the public’s confidence in the crown.
The future queen also seemingly thinks it sets a terrible example for her children, George, Charlotte, and Louis. Reportedly, she says that “sometimes you have to suck things up for the greater good.” According to the source, peace is the best thing for the family and the Crown as a whole, and “nearly everyone agrees on that.”
