The Traitors: New Blood’s Sherry Admits She Wanted to Play Dirty

Sherry Kuehl may have competed as a Faithful on The Traitors: New Blood, but she entered the castle hoping for a very different role. Following her Episode 5 elimination, she admitted that she had wanted to become one of the show’s secret Traitors.

The eliminated contestant also revealed what attracted her to the deceptive side of the game and reflected on the strategy she hoped to use.

Sherry reveals why she wanted to become a Traitor instead of a Faithful

During her exit interview on Rob Has a Podcast, Sherry admitted she entered the competition hoping to play as a Traitor.

“I’m a Traitor at heart,” she said. Sherry explained that the role appealed to her because it offered more strategic opportunities.

As per Entertainment Now, Sherry also wanted to take part in the secret decisions inside the Traitors’ turret.

She joked that another reason made the role appealing.

“I’m a thirsty old lady,” Sherry said while discussing the chance to spend more time in the turret. She also revealed her longtime admiration for host Alan Cumming.

Sherry never got the chance to become a Traitor, but she embraced her role as a Faithful. Her strategy involved closely watching the other contestants and questioning who might be hiding something.

She focused on Jay as a potential target and also grew suspicious of Joe. His popularity within the group made him worth watching closely.

Sherry also formed a close bond with Shane during her time in the castle. She described him as one of her closest connections in the competition.

Her daughter encouraged her to apply for The Traitors: New Blood. Sherry embraced the experience even though she did not get her preferred role.

Following her elimination, Sherry advised the remaining Faithfuls to rethink their roundtable strategy. She also made it clear that she entered the castle ready to play dirty as a Traitor.
