What do we see in The Fall and Rise of Reggie Dinkins Season 2 trailer?
The trailer opens with Monica, played by Erika Alexander, explaining that receiving a few Hall of Fame votes has not restored Reggie’s former standing. Reggie hopes to capitalize on the attention and repair his public image, but his comeback quickly turns chaotic.
In one scene, Reggie promotes air-conditioning filters in an unboxing video. He appears on television with an unruly ferret as part of a publicity stunt devised by Monica’s new assistant. Arthur continues filming Reggie’s comeback, often reacting with disbelief to his subject’s decisions.
Boris Kodjoe joins the cast as Leslie “LP” Pervis, Monica’s new love interest. LP was a child prodigy who attended college with Monica and Reggie. He has since become a successful entrepreneur, and his arrival immediately catches Arthur’s attention.
Even Reggie’s loyal sidekick Rusty, played by Bobby Moynihan, appears impressed by LP. Jeremy Culhane, known for Saturday Night Live, plays Max, Monica’s Gen Z assistant. NBC sportscaster Mike Tirico also appears as himself.
The second season continues the story of Reggie and Arthur as they pursue redemption, with Reggie’s family helping him regain his footing. Tina Fey, Robert Carlock and Sam Means are among the executive producers, while Carlock and Means serve as writers and executive producers.
The Fall and Rise of Reggie Dinkins Season 2 premieres Monday, November 2, 2026, at 8:30 p.m. on NBC, following the Season 3 premiere of St. Denis Medical. New episodes will stream on Peacock the following day.
