Ex-Prince Andrew may face the biggest nightmare of his life because of his involvement in the Epstein files. This update drops after late convicted financier Jeffrey Epstein’s former associate Ghislaine Maxwell’s latest bid to challenge her conviction was rejected by a federal judge.
Biographer says Maxwell cooperating could create fresh problems for Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor
According to the Daily Express, Nigel Cawthorne claimed that ex-Prince Andrew might soon face “the thing he has dreaded most.” The royal biographer believes that this could be due to his infamous scandal involving the Epstein files.
This claim comes after a recent update that late convicted Jeffrey Epstein’s associate Ghislaine Maxwell will reportedly provide new testimony. This could include details of Epstein and his friends, which also includes ex-Prince Andrew. Popular podcaster Ed Opperman believes Maxwell could take that step after a judge rejected her petition to overturn her conviction.
Ghislaine Maxwell was convicted on five felony charges, all related to her involvement with Epstein. She tried to challenge her conviction and 20-year sentence. She stated that the released documents from the Epstein files reveal how her constitutional rights were violated during trial. However, according to an ABC News report, District Judge Paul Engelmayer described all her claims as “meritless”.
Engelmayer stated, “To the extent it is relevant, far from exculpating her, it incriminates her or reinforces the correctness of the legal rulings Maxwell challenges. The Court accordingly denies Maxwell’s petition.”
In an interview, Cawthorne said, “She (Maxwell) has no reason whatsoever to remain loyal to Andrew or anyone else, for that matter. If she does tell all in some sort of deal, it could end in the worst nightmare in his life for Andrew.”
The released Epstein files mentioned alleged communication between Ex-Prince Andrew and Jeffrey Epstein. He also defended his friendship with the financier in a 2019 interview.
