Prince William is reportedly bothered by the growing alliance between Prince Harry and Charles Spencer. They added that he believes this alliance could turn the ongoing family drama into public confrontations. This update comes amid a report claiming that Harry is also facing mounting pressure to distance himself from Spencer.
Prince William’s reaction to Prince Harry and Charles Spencer’s closeness revealed
A source told RadarOnline that the strengthening ties between Prince Harry and Charles Spencer aren’t seemingly sitting well with Prince William. They said, “William believes the relationship risks turning longstanding family disagreements into another public confrontation, particularly when the monarchy is already facing considerable scrutiny.” This is happening as William is facing growing tensions, following Charles Spencer’s controversial claims about his father, King Charles, in his new Princess Diana memoir.
One of the claims about King Charles also included his heated conversation with Spencer in the aftermath of Princess Diana’s demise. In it, Charles alleged that the monarch stated on the call, “We’ll forget her soon enough.”
This update comes as the tension grows between Spencer and the Royal Family. An insider told the National Examiner recently that Harry is also under pressure to sever his ties with Spencer. The source added, “It’s really the only thing that will make King Charles III and the Windsors happy.”
They further added that Harry understands the Royal Family’s position but can’t just step away from his bond with Spencer. This is because the Spencer clan had stood by him in times of need. The source claims that if Harry cuts his ties with his uncle, it could possibly help him to ease tensions with the Royal Family. However, he doesn’t seem to be willing to make that move.
“He was actually making progress, but now that’s all come grinding to a halt. The king, and every one of his advisors, is now questioning how trustworthy he can be if he’s so openly aligned with a man that’s trying to sabotage the monarchy,” a source added.
