RHOC’s Heather Dubrow’s Luxury Hotel Stay Had One Very Cheap Problem

Heather Dubrow shared her disappointment with a recent stay at the Four Seasons in New York City after she discovered an unusual setup inside her suite. The Real Housewives of Orange County star showed followers that hotel staff had covered the bedroom windows with cardboard panels and duct tape. She also questioned another detail in the room’s decor.

Dubrow posted a TikTok on October 7 after her husband, Terry Dubrow, called her attention to the bedroom. As per PEOPLE, when Terry raised the blackout shades, the couple discovered cardboard panels covering the windows. Staff had apparently secured the panels with duct tape.

“Look at the blackout shade,” Heather told viewers. “This is the Four Seasons hotel, by the way; the room’s a fortune.” The RHOC star then showed a small arrangement of red flowers nearby and said they were artificial. “I mean, have we fallen on hard times, Four Seasons?” she joked.

Heather also compared the display with the work of Jeff Leatham, who serves as artistic director at the Four Seasons Hotel George V in Paris. “Not exactly what I expected … What is going on Four Seasons ?!?!” she wrote alongside the video. Several hours later, Heather posted another update about the hotel stay.

The cardboard windows remained in place at that point, but Heather said the hotel’s general manager had contacted her directly. “I did just get a call from the hotel general manager, who was very nice, and he just said he wanted to give us a free night and they were going to come fix this,” she explained.

According to Heather, the manager blamed the unusual window setup on an employee’s error. She then asked Terry whether he considered the hotel’s response fair. “I think that’s very nice,” he replied. “It’s the Four Seasons; they’re nice.”

The hotel had not provided additional comment at the time of publication. Heather’s videos focused on the contrast between the expensive Four Seasons suite and the unexpected cardboard panels and artificial flowers she found inside.
