The Joe Rogan Experience has reached another major milestone. According to new reports, sports commentator Joe Rogan‘s wildly popular podcast has successfully secured a new streaming deal worth $250 million.
As reported by The Wall Street Journal, Spotify has renewed its deal with the star podcaster, retaining licensing rights and ad sales for his podcast in a multi-year agreement. According to people familiar with the matter, the terms are similar to those of the previous deal, which allowed The Joe Rogan Experience to be distributed broadly and was reportedly worth an estimated $250 million.
“The partnership with Spotify has been an amazing fit, and they’re incredible to work with,” Rogan said, per the outlet. “I’m extremely happy and excited to continue with them for years to come.” The podcast now has 18 million followers on Spotify, alongside more than 21 million YouTube subscribers.

Spotify keeps Joe Rogan as the partnership enters a new chapter
Spotify officially began its business partnership with The Joe Rogan Experience back in 2020. Six years later, the streamer has renewed its deal to keep the show as the partnership enters a new chapter.
Back in 2020, the streaming service reportedly paid more than $100 million to tap Rogan, making the show exclusive to its platform and helping accelerate its then-growing podcast business. When it renewed the deal in 2024, Spotify began distributing the show across podcast platforms, including YouTube.
Spotify Head of Content Partnerships Jordan Newman said, “Joe has built something incredibly enduring, and his show continues to resonate with a massive global audience because there’s simply nothing else like it.”
The show has only grown over the years, proving to be a successful partnership for the streaming service. By the second quarter of this year, the podcast reached around 28.4 million Americans, up from 6.6 million in early 2020, according to Edison Research.
