Minka Kelly and Dan Reynolds ended their relationship after nearly four years together, according to multiple reports.
The Friday Night Lights alum and the Imagine Dragons singer kept much of their romance relatively private before making their first official red carpet appearance together earlier in 2026.
Minka Kelly and Dan Reynolds split after nearly four years together
Kelly, 46, and Reynolds, 39, first sparked dating speculation in November 2022 after they spent several hours together at a Los Angeles dinner.
Days later, the pair appeared to confirm their relationship when photographers captured them holding hands during another outing in the city.
Their romance continued for several years before they finally stepped onto a red carpet together at the 2026 MOCA Gala in Los Angeles on May 30.
Only months later, reports surfaced that Kelly and Reynolds had split.
Representatives for the pair had not commented on the breakup, according to the supplied source.
Before the breakup reports emerged, Kelly had publicly shared affectionate messages about Reynolds.
As per E! News, she celebrated the musician’s birthday with an Instagram tribute in July.
“Thank you for making ordinary days feel extraordinary, for making me laugh until I can’t breathe, and for loving so deeply and so freely,” Kelly wrote.
She added, “I love you, Dan.”
Kelly had also spoken warmly about Reynolds after he appeared on her Netflix series Ransom Canyon. She said members of the production quickly connected with him when he visited the set.
“He came to visit and everyone, all the producers and writers, just naturally fell in love with him,” Kelly said in 2025. “It’s easy to love Dan.”
Reynolds had also discussed their relationship in previous interviews.
He said Kelly trusted him to read drafts of her 2023 memoir, Tell Me Everything, before they had even met in person. Reynolds described that experience as an unusual way to learn about someone’s life.
Kelly and Reynolds’ relationship lasted from late 2022 until their reported 2026 split. The former couple made their red carpet debut only a few months before news of the breakup emerged.
