Agatha Won’t Be in VisionQuest, but [Spoiler] Will Return – Rumor

A new rumor has changed the outlook for Kathryn Hahn’s Agatha Harkness in the upcoming Marvel series VisionQuest. Fans had hoped the witch would resurface, but a known scooper now claims she has been cut from the show. Marvel has not commented on the report, so treat it with caution.

It won’t be Agatha all along in VisionQuest

The scooper, @MyTimeToShineHello, posted on X (formerly Twitter): “Agatha was removed from VisionQuest and instead now Billy (Joe Locke) will appear.” The update reverses an earlier claim from the same source.

The scooper previously said, “Agatha will appear in VisionQuest, she’s talking to someone but we don’t see who.” That version of events had Agatha Harkness cameoing in the Disney+ series, leaving her scene partner hidden from view.

Billy’s return would still make sense for the story. Agatha and Billy left together at the end of Agatha All Along, searching for his brother, Tommy. Tommy is confirmed for VisionQuest, so a reunion between the two brothers looks plausible.

Moreover, VisionQuest is the third story in the WandaVision trilogy and is scheduled to premiere this October. It follows White Vision as he learns about his past and potentially reunites with one of his sons. Marvel has not officially said whether Agatha or Wanda will appear.

Hahn first played Agatha in 2021’s WandaVision, then led the 2024 spin-off Agatha All Along. The character has not appeared in live-action Marvel projects since that finale. She started out as an antagonist, but the spin-off expanded her role.

Kathryn Hahn has stayed open to a comeback. Asked at D23 whether Agatha would return to the MCU, she said, “I mean, I want to. I have no idea, but I sure would love it.” Marvel fans have already heard Hahn’s voice elsewhere in the franchise. She voiced Dr. Olivia Octavius, a variant of Doc Ock, in 2018’s Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.
